As a teen, Officer Richard Guberman developed a passion for law enforcement as a five-year member of the Boca Raton Police Explorer Program. While earning his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice at Florida Atlantic University, he completed an internship at the department to continue learning about different aspects of policework. In 2006, he became a Boca Raton Police officer. Currently, Officer Guberman is the University Liaison Officer in the Community Engagement Unit. He also serves as an Honor Guard member, Auxiliarist Telecommunicator and Explorer Lead Advisor.
