Captain Seth Dubinsky began his career with the Florida Highway Patrol in 2003 while serving in the Florida Army National Guard as an air defense artillery crew member. In 2011, Captain Dubinsky joined the Boca Raton Police Services Department where he served in the Field Services Division as a patrol officer. Captain Dubinsky was assigned in 2016 as an Investigator to the Major Crimes Unit. Captain Dubinsky promoted to the rank of Sergeant in 2017, serving as the midnight shift supervisor. In 2018 he was assigned to the Special Services Bureau in the Special Operations Section, where he supervised the Marine, Canine, and DUI units.
Captain Dubinsky was promoted to Lieutenant in 2020, where he served in the Field Services Division as the midnight shift watch commander. In 2022, Captain Dubinsky was assigned to the Support Services Bureau in Administration. Captain Dubinsky had previous assignments as the CISM/Peer Support Team Coordinator and as the Assistant Team Commander of the Unmanned Aircraft Systems. Captain Dubinsky was promoted to the rank of Captain in 2023 and is currently the Professional Standards Bureau Commander.
Captain Dubinsky holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Florida and a Master of Public Administration from Florida International University with a certificate in Emergency Management. He is a graduate of the FBI LEEDA Trilogy and FDLE’s Florida Leadership Academy. Captain Dubinsky has been awarded a Lifesaving Award and a Professional Partnership Award with Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.
