Jefferson started his employment with the City of Boca Raton in June 2018 as a Building Inspector III and is currently the Structural Division Chief. Jefferson not only has a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Science in Construction Management, but is also licensed as a Florida Professional Engineer. He has a Building Code Administrator License and is duly certified as a Structural and Plumbing Inspector, and Structural Plans examiner. Jefferson has been an integral part of implementing and testing the new Tyler Energov permitting system. In addition, he contributed to the development of the Building Recertification Inspection Program.
