Jerry joined the City of Boca Raton in February 2018 as the Chief Structural Inspector and has now been promoted to Assistant Building Official. He was recruited from the City of Parkland where he was the structural inspector and plans examiner. Jerry brings to the City of Boca Raton his extensive experience as a State Certified General Contractor, building in South Florida since 1984. His knowledge of the construction industry is vast, including building luxury homes, naval stations, restaurants, corporate and industrial facilities. Jerry also was seated on the Planning and Zoning Board in Wilton Manors for multiple years. He is a certified mold remediator, licensed indoor environmentalist, and a certified unit masonry inspector. Most of all, Jerry is a problem solver and looks forward to working with the residents and developers of the City of Boca Raton.
