Lieutenant Robert Adams
began his career with the Boca Raton Police Services Department in 2001. He was
promoted to the rank of Sergeant in 2012. He has served the citizens of Boca
Raton as a Road Patrol Officer, a Field Training Officer, Major Crimes Detective,
Road Patrol Sergeant, and Canine/DUI Sergeant. Lieutenant Adams was promoted to
the rank of Lieutenant in 2017 and is currently assigned as a midnight shift
Watch Commander. In addition, he is a member of the Special Weapons and Tactics
Team where he serves as an explosive breacher and rappel master.
Lieutenant Adams received a
Bachelor Degree in Criminal Justice from Lynn University and is currently
pursuing a Masters Degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Lynn
University.
Lieutenant Adams has been
recognized as Officer of the Month, been awarded a life saving award, a Unit
Citation, and has received several Meritorious Service awards.
