Lieutenant Guillot began his law enforcement career with the Boca Raton Police Department in 1999. Prior to this he worked at Ft Pierce Police Department for 2 ½ years where he received the department’s Medal Of Honor. Prior to becoming a police officer, Lieutenant Guillot served in the United States Marine Corps from 1992-1996 and participated in Operation Continue Hope in Somalia.
In 2005 Lieutenant Guillot was promoted to the rank of sergeant. As a sergeant, he supervised Road Patrol and several sections in the Detective Bureau. From 2009-2016 Lieutenant Guillot supervised the Special Investigations Unit. During his tenure at the department Lieutenant Guillot has received numerous awards to include: Meritorious Service, Unit Citations, Officer of the Month, Outstanding Fitness, and numerous Outstanding Evaluations.
Lieutenant Guillot has been a member of the SWAT Team since 2001 and currently serves as a team leader.
Lieutenant Guillot is currently enrolled in the Bachelor’s Degree Program at Liberty University
