Financial Manager Carmen Collorafi began her career with Boca Raton Police Services Department in 2006. Her career started in New York with graduate research work in chemistry followed by a dozen years of business ownership. In 1997 she pursued a bachelor of science degree in accounting at Florida Atlantic University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude, made President’s Honor List, Dean’s List, and National Dean’s List. Ms. Collorafi went on to graduate courses in accounting and received her Certified Public Accountant certification in 2001. She worked as a senior associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP doing SEC audits in a variety of fields. Shortly thereafter, she was recruited by Corporate Express North American operations as an Assistant Controller where she supervised the entire accounting department and was responsible for all financial statements. Currently she coordinates the budget preparation and administration as well as the preparation of the annual Federal and State Law Enforcement Trust Fund reports.
Ms. Collorafi is also a Forensic Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Forensic Certified Public Accountants Society.
