Assistant Chief Elizabeth Roberts began her career with the Boca Raton Police Services Department in 2005. She worked in the Field Services Division as a patrol officer, field training officer, and tactical team officer. Assistant Chief Roberts was later assigned to the Investigative Services Bureau as an investigator in the Vice, Intelligence and Narcotics Unit and the Persons Unit. Assistant Chief Roberts was promoted to sergeant in 2012 where she worked in the Field Services Division as a midnight shift sergeant and later the Investigative Services Bureau as a tactical team sergeant. She was promoted to Lieutenant in 2016 and supervised the Communications Center. Assistant Chief Roberts was promoted to Captain in 2020 and was assigned to the Support Services Bureau in Administration. Assistant Chief Roberts was promoted to her current position in 2022 and commands the Field Services Division.
Assistant Chief Roberts received a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from the University of Florida.
