The Beautification Committee is an independent group of resident volunteers; members are not appointed by the City Council. Its mission is to promote higher standards of landscape design, encourage an increase in the City’s tree canopy, and educate residents in the proper selection, pruning and care of trees. Heimberg Business Meeting Room. The Library Board makes recommendations to the City Council concerning the management and operation of the City's libraries.

The Art in Public Places Advisory Board reviews and recommends to the City Council policies, programs and actions regarding art in the public realm. The Board is comprised of seven (7) members who are residents of the City with knowledge, experience or an interest in art.

The Airport Authority has jurisdiction over operations, maintenance and improvements at the Boca Raton Airport. The Authority operates independently of the City.

The Boca Raton Public Library is pleased to announce a new photo exhibit by Veronique Viardin called “Pride & Honor: Native-American Indian Portraits” at the Downtown Library. Visitors will enjoy a spirited collection of black-and-white portraits depicting modern-day faces of Native-American Indians. These stunning photographs were taken at a pow-wow ceremony where Native-American Indians united to celebrate their heritage with feasting, singing and dancing. French-Puerto Rican photographer Veronique Viardin is inspired by nature and the human condition. Driven by her curiosity, sense of wonder and love of art, she is inspired to create fine-art photography saturated with equal parts beauty and emotion. The exhibit is free and open to the public during regular library hours.

Gain firsthand knowledge of basic 3D design principles. Design a 3D object using easy-to-use modeling software. No prior experience with Tinkercad is required but must register for a free Tinkercad account at www.tinkercad.com.

Bring your Pokémon cards and enjoy playing and trading with new friends. We will also watch a Pokémon movie and play Pokémon video games. Pokémon cards will also be provided.

Have some fab, fizzing fun by making 3D salt paintings. Use your imagination, glue, salt and watercolors to make an eye-popping work of art.
