    Palm Beach County Property Appraiser's Office will have deputies available at Boca Raton City Hall on September 6, October 4, November 1, December 6 to answer residents' questions about and take applications for homestead exemption. Residents should bring a copy of their deed and proof of residency.

    The Planning and Zoning Board monitors and oversees the effectiveness of the Comprehensive Plan. The Board holds public hearings twice monthly to hear all matters pertaining to development within the City and makes recommendations to the City Council.

  1. Art Exhibit: "Elements of Art & Life" by Galal Ramadan

    The Boca Raton Public Library is pleased to present an art exhibit by Galal Ramadan: “Elements of Art & Life.” Visitors to the Downtown Library will view a variety of colored-pencil drawings in a photo-realistic style. Born in Alexandria, Egypt, Galal Ramadan emigrated to the United States in 1985 and now resides in Boca Raton. His artwork reveals his fascination with natural and cultural matters, along with his appreciation of basic elements of art and life. These beautiful images reflect the artist’s attention to the minutest details and love of color. “Elements of Art & Life” will run from September 1–November 9, 2018, at the Downtown Library, an Art in Public Places venue, at 400 NW 2nd Avenue. The exhibit is free and open to the public during regular library hours.

  2. Special Guest Drop-in Story Time with a Police Officer

    September 6, 2018, 10:00 AM - 10:30 AM @ Downtown Library

    An officer from the Boca Raton Police Department will join us for story time, and then children will be able to explore a real police car in the library parking lot! No enrollment required. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
