    Born in Mexico City, Ana Hentze has been a resident of Florida since 1998. She has a bachelor’s degree in architecture and is an avid designer for commercial architecture. She creates art using batik, oil on paper, watercolor, acrylic, mixed media, and textiles. Her themes include wildlife, flowers, the ocean and magical creatures. Vibrant colors create a link to her native culture of Mexico. This free exhibit is open during regular library hours.

    Rap as a music genre arose out of the African-American communities in New York and has indelibly shaped music and culture. Explore rap's evolution as artists such as Schoolly D, Kendrick Lamar, Kanye, Future, and DeJ Loaf push sonic boundaries with their beats and lyrics. After this presentation, you may see rap in a whole new light.
