  3. Builders' Board of Adjustment and Appeals*

    *This meeting is rescheduled from June 27, 2018 with a change in time. Upon appeal by a petitioner, the Builders' Board may grant a variance from the building code, in any particular case when enforcement would be contrary to the spirit and purpose of the building codes or public interest.

  4. CANCELED Education Task Force

    The Education Task Force reviews the status of City public school facility capacity, construction and renovation and reports their findings and recommendations to the City Council. The Task Force is comprised of seven (7) members who are City residents, at least three (3) of whom have children attending public school, grades K-12, in the City.

  1. Fishing Academy (Ages 6-13)

    FISHING ACADEMY (AGES 6-13) Join us for a great week of fishing and a chance to catch a trophy fish!! Participants will learn how to tie different knots, bait a hook, how to identify different fresh and salt water fish in Florida and learn about water safety. Fishing equipment such as rods, bait, etc. will be provided. A fishing tournament will take place on the last day of the program followed by an awards ceremony. All participants will receive a t-shirt, daily prizes, rod/reel to keep, daily snack and a medal during end of week awards ceremony. We release all caught fish. Because of fishing equipment, this camp is limited to the numbers of campers, so please sign up soon! DAYS: Mondays - Fridays, 9:00am-12:00pm COST: Per 1 week session Residents $135 Non-resident $169 Dress Code: Optional, yet encouraged to wear/bring water bottle, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, long sleeve shirt, and tennis shoes *Registration starts April 1st

  1. A World of Our Own: Boca Raton High School Student Photography Exhibit

    The Boca Raton Public Library is pleased to announce a new photographic exhibit, “A World of Our Own: Boca Raton Community High School Student Photography.” Visitors to the Art in Public Places area of the Downtown Library will be able to view a variety of photographs taken by the students in Boca High’s esteemed photography program. This is the fifth year the library has showcased the work of our local photography students. The exhibit will run from May 7–June 30 at the Downtown Library, 400 NW 2nd Avenue, during regular library hours.
