The City is a proud sponsor of the TimberTech Championship, which returns to Boca Raton the week of October 31 - November 6, 2022, with rounds 1, 2 and 3 taking place Friday - Sunday, November 4-6. This year's tournament will be played at the Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club (2425 W Maya Palm Dr, Boca Raton, FL 33432) while The Old Course at Broken Sound undergoes renovations.

The TimberTech Championship is the longest-running professional golf tournament in Palm Beach County. Steven Alker will return to defend his 2021 win and will be joined by Hall of Famer Bernhard Langer, former champion Darren Clarke, Padraig Harrington, Ernie Els, Retief Goosen, Miguel Angel Jimenez and Colin Montgomerie.

The schedule for the 2022 TimberTech Championship is:

• Monday, October 31 - Women's Day Pro-Am
• Tuesday, November 1 - Draw Party (Invitation Only)
• Wednesday, November 2 - DRVPNK AutoNation Pro-Am
• Thursday, November 3 - Lumbermen's Pro-Am
• Friday, November 4 - TimberTech Championship Round 1
• Saturday, November 5 - TimberTech Championship Round 2
• Sunday, November 6 - TimberTech Championship Final Round

The TimberTech Championship will continue to be a Zero Waste event, meaning none of the trash will be sent to area landfills. As part of TimberTech's FULL-CIRCLE plastic bag collection drive, some of the waste will be repurposed and re-used in manufacturing.
