8. What should I do if my sewer starts to back up?

Locate your clean out cap which is usually a 3" round cap in the ground approximately 5 feet from your master bathroom. With gloved hands, unscrew the cap. This will release the pressure and prevent the backup from entering your house. 10. Is the City's water as good as bottled water?

Better! The City’s membrane softening process produces the high quality water that strictly regulated to ensure consistent quality. Bottled water can come from any number of sources and has less stringent regulations. Please call 561-338-7300 for more information.

11. Is there fluoride in the water?

Check your house valve to make sure it is on. Check the area to see if there are any Utility Services crews working in the area. During business hours (Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.), contact Utility Services Dispatch at 561-338-7339. After business hours or on holidays, contact the Water Treatment Plant at 561-338-7325.
