The City of Boca Raton hosted its first ever 2020 State of the City Address on Tuesday, February 18. The event was held in the Mizner Park Cultural Arts Center’s Black Box Theater with about 200 attendees.
Mayor Scott Singer highlighted initiatives such as infrastructure progress, public safety improvements, economic development, parks and recreation and new and growing partnerships with the community.
Each year, mayors, council presidents and city managers deliver State of the City speeches. These speeches provide transparency and help local leaders engage and inform the community about programs, initiatives and accomplishments achieved by the city throughout the year.
