After an extensive renovation, Palm Beach County held a ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday, August 6, to officially open the Camino Real intracoastal bridge.
Attending the ceremony were County Commissioner Robert Weinroth, as well as City Council members Andrea Levine O'Rourke, Monica Mayotte and Andy Thomson. Staff from Palm Beach County, construction company staff, and business members joined in the ceremony. Residents walking and on bicycles also celebrated the opening by coming across from the east side of the bridge.
Our appreciation goes to the County and bridge crew for ensuring that this historic bridge will be able to continue to serve our community for years to come.
