During a visit to the Boca Raton Police Department, Governor Rick Scott signed a bill into law today to help combat opioid abuse in the State of Florida. Governor Scott was joined by Speaker of the House, Richard Corcoran; Palm Beach County Commissioner, Steve Abrams; Mayor, Susan Haynie; Deputy Mayor, Jeremy Rodgers; Councilmember, Andrea O'Rourke; Councilmember, Robert Weinroth; Councilmember, Scott Singer; Councilmember-elect; Monica Mayotte and Boca Raton Police Chief, Dan Alexander, as well as Boca Raton police officers.
