Hurricane Irma, still a Category 5 hurricane, continues on its path to South Florida.
On Wednesday afternoon, September 6, Mayor Susan Haynie signed an Emergency Declaration for the City. This action will authorize staff to streamline administrative procedures so that they can respond quickly to deploy staff, equipment, supplies & funds when necessary.

• Garbage pickup is still scheduled through Friday. After Friday, you’ll need to secure any debris & garbage• Once the EOC is open, the Citizens Information Center 561-982-4900 will be activated• All meetings cancelled through Tues, Sept. 12.• Brazilian Beat event has been cancelled.
We know that Irma is causing a great deal of anxiety. We ask all of our residents to be patient with one another, help each other and check on each other as we ride this out.
