Time for all of us to take the Vision Zero pledge and do our part - stay safe while crossing designated crosswalks and be sure to Push It!
Vision Zero is the City’s goal of achieving no severe traffic injuries or fatalities. A recent study on A1A revealed that 49% of people who use crosswalks DID NOT press the button to activate the flashing lights. The flashing beacons alert drivers to stop before a pedestrian crosses the street.

✅ Warning lights are activated once you PUSH IT
✅ Drivers are more aware when you PUSH IT
✅ Cross only when it’s safe after you PUSH IT
