Saturday Morning Writers' Group
Saturday, July 24, 2021
Are you a budding or professional writer? Would you like feedback from other writers on your book chapters, short stories, poetry or vignettes? Are you interested in building an ongoing team of like-minded people for creative support and inspiration? If so, you are a perfect candidate for a writers' group.
Led by Caren S. Neile, the group meets the first and third Saturday of every month on Zoom. Registrants will be asked periodically to send the facilitator a brief manuscript (up to 10 pages) for distribution to participants to read before each meeting. Then the group will engage in productive critique of three or more manuscripts per session. Ages 18 and up. Drop-ins welcome, but frequent participation is encouraged.
Facilitator: Caren S. Neile, Ph.D., MFA, has taught storytelling studies and writing at Florida Atlantic and Florida International universities for over two decades. She has published numerous book chapters and articles, and her fifth book, Peninnah's World, is due out this fall from Hamilton Books.
