The Beautification Committee is an independent group of resident volunteers; members are not appointed by the City Council. Its mission is to promote higher standards of landscape design, encourage an increase in the City’s tree canopy, and educate residents in the proper selection, pruning and care of trees. Sponsored programs are: •Annual Landscape Awards •Project Shade Tree •Various Pamphlets and ActivitiesCitizens are invited to attend and participate.
