Arts Spark Kids Fest

Sunday, February 19, 2017

Sugar Sand Park's Arts Spark is an interactive festival of the arts for kids!

Mark your calendars for Sugar Sand Park’s 4th annual Arts Spark Kids Fest - an interactive festival of the arts for kids! Celebrate the creative, performing and visual arts with a multitude of performances, workshops, demonstrations and make & takes.

Returning this year will be the popular Coloring Book Furniture station, with artist Jacklyn Laflamme. Gojuart – The Brushless Artist - Melinda Gallop will complete a painting during the event and demonstrate her completely brushless painting technique. Performances take place throughout the day on the outdoor stage with Gary Goodman, who will perform 30 minute Comedy Magic Shows, as well as DJ/Emcee.  Indoor interactive workshops range from dance with Boca Dance Studio, storytelling with Mij Byram, and theater games with Drama Kids, to gymnastics, drawing, music, cheerleading and much more.

The event wristbands are $10 for kids 16 and under, and adults are free with paid child(ren). They include admission to all entertainment, exhibitor booths, make & takes, all indoor workshops, and one balloon art creation. Wristbands can be purchased in person, day of event only. A complete schedule is available to help guests plan their day at www.SugarSandPark.org.

Arts Spark Kids Fest is proudly sponsored by Habitat for Humanity of South Palm Beach County ReStores, and South Florida Parenting magazine.
