Beach Patrol History

The Boca Raton Beach Patrol was established in the 1940s. In 1969, it was one of the first East Coast chapters of the United States Lifesaving Association (USLA), then known as the National Surf Life Saving Association. Today, Boca Raton Beach Patrol now known as Boca Raton Ocean Rescue, consists of sixty highly trained personnel, safeguarding two and one half miles of beautiful oceanfront beach.
