Parks & Recreation Board

The Parks and Recreation Board:
  • Studies and makes recommendations concerning development, operation, management, control and maintenance of all parks, playgrounds, and other recreational facilities of the City
  • Studies and recommends reasonable rules and regulations
  • Studies and recommends all charges and fees related to City recreational facilities
  • Makes recommendations for improvements to existing facilities as well as for providing new parks and recreational facilities.

The 7 members are appointed for 2-year terms by the City Council.
