Billing & Payment Dates

The City of Boca Raton bills customers on a bimonthly basis for approximately 60 days of service each billing cycle. The bill will also include sewer and garbage charges during this period. To ensure proper credit to your account, make sure your payment is received within 30 days of the billing date shown on the bill. If you need additional time to pay your bill, please contact Customer Service. You may also elect to have paperless bills mailed electronically by selecting the paperless option above and following the instructions.

Paying Your Bill

You may view and pay your bill online. The website provides your current balance and allows you to view your latest bill, your payment and billing history. To access your account, you will need a copy of your bill with the account number. You will have to establish a permanent pin number if you are a first time user. When paying online, you can pay using your Master Card, Visa or American Express. You may also sign up for Automatic Bank Drafting which automatically withdraws the amount of your bill from your checking or savings account on the exact due date of the bill.

Questions About Your Bill

A portion of your bill is based on the amount of water you consume each period. This will appear on the bill as consumption. The remainder of the bill calculation is based on flat fixed fees that will not vary such as the customer charge, water capacity charge and sewer charge. If you have any questions regarding the calculation of your bill, please contact Customer Service at 561-393-7750.

Water Emergencies

For water or sewer emergencies that not related to billing such as a sewer back up or a main water line break, please contact the Utility Services Department at 561-338-7339, or after 5 p.m. at 561-338-7325.

Disconnecting or Transferring Service

In the event you move, you should always disconnect your service before moving from a residence. Customers may request service termination by phone, fax and email or by coming into the office. If you are moving to a new location serviced by the City of Boca Raton, you will need to transfer your service and provide the same information as noted above for opening a new account. Please note the deposit requirement may vary when transferring from one location to another. The account deposit will be billed the difference or refunded as required.
