Divisions

The Boca Raton Police Services Department has established a formal structure, through which organizational components are arranged, defined, directed, and coordinated for line and staff functions. Under the direction of the Chief of Police, the Department is divided into 2 major components.

Community Services Division


The Community Services Division is commanded by an assistant chief who is responsible for information and analysis, records, information technology, budget/fiscal management, communications functions, public information, and special operations.

Field Services Division


The Field Services Division is commanded by an assistant chief and is primarily responsible for community policing functions and the investigation of violent and non-violent crime activities.
