Duties of the Pension Board include the interpretation of the provisions of the plan, the determination and certification of amounts of all retirement allowances and the authorization of all payments from the fund. The City Council appoints 4 trustees, and 4 are elected by the City employees who are members of the Plan to serve 3-year terms.
