Investigator William Morales began his career with the Boca Raton Police Services Department in 1984 and served in the Field Services Division as a patrol officer. In 1988, Investigator Morales was assigned to the K-9 and worked with his partner K-9 Crack. In 1993, Investigator Morales was assigned to the Community Policing Unit working in the Boca Island East community. Then in 1997, Investigator Morales was assigned to the Investigative Services Bureau as an investigator in the Property Crimes Unit, the Economic Crimes unit, and the Persons Crimes Unit.
In 2005, Investigator Morales was hired as a Civilian Background Investigator working in the Professional Standards Bureau conducting pre-employment backgrounds and recruiting. Investigator Morales is the 2023 Civilian of the Year!
Detective Erika Arenas began her career with the Boca Raton Police Services Department in 2011 and served in the Field Services Division as a patrol officer. In 2016, Detective Arenas was assigned to the Investigative Services Bureau as an investigator in the Economic Crimes Unit and the Special Investigations Unit. In 2023, Detective Arenas was assigned to the Professional Standards Bureau as a Background Investigator and Recruiter.
Detective Arenas holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Forensic Psychology and a Master of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York.
