Heather has been working in the health and wellness industry for over 30 years. She earned her bachelor's degree from FAU in Exercise Science and Wellness Education and is a National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC) and a Certified Exercise Physiologist with the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM-EP). Recently Heather got certified in Mental Health First Aid from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing.
Heather has experience working with diverse populations in health and wellness on many health-related topics such as exercise, nutrition, stress management, sleep, and blood pressure, to name a few. Helping people work toward living their healthiest life is her passion.
The wellness program includes chaplain support, education, health tips, wellness assessments, private health coaching, group lectures, classes, special events, and more. As the Wellness coordinator of Boca Raton, my goal is to enhance the well-being of the police officers and build a strong culture of health and wellness to be fit, happy, and healthy. Wellness has a wide range of topics like nutrition, sleep, exercise, stress management, mental wellbeing, and more.
