Celebrate Mobility Week in Boca Raton
October 27 - November 4
Mobility Week is a cooperative effort by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and its partner agencies to promote awareness of safe, multimodal transportation choices. During Mobility Week, counties, cities, and transportation agencies host events and offer special promotions to encourage Floridians to try new transportation options.

MOBILITY WEEK EVENTS (CITY)
Explore the El Rio Trail Story Walk
All week long, take advantage of one of Boca Raton’s most traveled trail – the El Rio Trail! The five-mile, multi-use path takes you through beautiful natural areas full of turtles, great blue herons, owls, butterflies and iguanas along the canal of which it is named. The trail is adjacent to FAU and the Yamato Tri-Rail station running from Glades Road/SR 808 to north of Congress Avenue up to the Gulfstream Canal and is accessible for all. Be sure to check out the special “story walk” to learn about the trail and engage in fun activities!
Mobility Week Awareness Event on the El Rio Trail - Saturday, Nov. 4 from 8:30am - 10:30am
Grab your sneakers or bikes and meet us on the El Rio Trail for FREE cool treats, swag giveaways, special “story walk” along the trail, info on mobility, and bike maps!
As part of Mobility Week, we’ll be out on the Trail with Kona Ice and Beachside Blends talking about the importance of mobility in Boca Raton.

Shuttle to Work Day
Visit our City staff and FDOT representatives at the Tri-Rail Station on Thursday, Nov. 2 at 8am for fun mobility swag items and information about transportation in Boca Raton. Afterward, if your office is situated in the Park of Broken Sound or BRiC, make sure to take advantage of their dedicated shuttle services to kickstart your workday!

Mobility Week Proclamation
The proclamation was presented at the Monday, Oct. 23 City Council Workshop.
Bike Assessment Ride
This week, staff partnered up with FDOT, TPA, the Bike and Pedestrian Board, and bike advocate groups to conduct an assessment of Palmetto Park Road to identify areas that will be addressed as part of mobility projects.

Mobility Vision Workshop - Transportation Planning Agency (TPA)
The Palm Beach Transportation Planning Agency (TPA) invites the public to discuss the future of our transportation system at the following workshop on Wednesday, October 25 from 4-6pm at the Spanish River Library. The workshop will focus on ways to improve walking, bicycling, transit access, and additional roadway improvements in the region. More info...

Mobility Week 2023 Bike Ride - Transportation Planning Agency (TPA)
Hop on the Brightline and head to West Palm Beach to join the TPA, City of West Palm Beach, and Mobility Week Partners, including City of Boca Raton staff, for a leisurely ride (or e-scoot) rolling from downtown, along the waterfront, and circling back to the Green Market for a 7-mile loop on Saturday, October 28.
