Important Message for City of Boca Raton Vendors

We have been notified of several instances of "spoofed" emails falsely claiming to be sent by City of Boca Raton's Purchasing Manager, Ivelsa Guzman. It is important to note that these emails DID NOT originate from the City of Boca Raton. We value our partnership with our vendors and commend them for promptly informing us about these emails upon receipt.

Please read the following email with important information that has been sent directly to all City of Boca Raton vendors. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact our Purchasing Division at 561-393-7871.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. It is crucial that we stay alert and implement preemptive measures to safeguard confidential information and maintain the integrity of our communication platforms.

The mission of the Purchasing Division is to procure materials, supplies, equipment and services at the lowest possible cost consistent with the quality needed to provide the very best service to the public.

Our website is designed to provide Suppliers with the information needed to do business with the City of Boca Raton. We encourage you to monitor the Bidding Opportunities page.
 
The City uses an online Supplier Registration system. The online supplier registration system allows the supplier to register and update their information at any time and to receive notifications of bid opportunities for the commodities selected during registration.

  • Award of Excellence in Public Procurement for 2023 
    For the 16th consecutive year, the Purchasing Division has earned the award from the Florida Association of Public Procurement Officials (FAPPO). The award recognizes organizational excellence in procurement, and the agencies that meet or exceed benchmarks in the procurement process.
