State Incentives

Tax Holidays

Consumers can purchase Energy Star appliances exempt from tax in the State of Florida. Learn more at floridarevenue.com

Rebates

Rebates will be upfront discounts which may cover up to 100% of costs! Total benefits could be as much as $14,000 for some households. Benefits are income dependent. Covered electrification improvements include:

  • Electric panel
  • Electric/induction stove
  • Electric wiring
  • Heat pump water heaters
  • Heat pump air conditioners
  • Heat pump clothes dryer
  • Weatherization
  • Home efficiency rebate

Tax Deductions for Commercial Buildings

The Inflation Reduction Act extended and expanded section 179D of the Internal Revenue Code which allows commercial buildings owners to claim a tax deduction for installing qualifying energy efficient systems in their buildings. Tax deductions may be as much as $1.88 per square foot for whole buildings or up to $0.63 per square foot for sections of a property.
