August 2023 Update
A new golf cart fleet arrived at the Boca Raton Golf & Racquet Club (and Red Reef Golf Course), providing golfers an elevated golfing experience. The carts offer a smooth quiet ride, increased storage, and digital displays with a scorecard, course map and more. Additionally, SW Grill, the restaurant at the golf course, has extended hours, a full bar, and offers a brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. SW Grill overlooks the greens and is located on the ground floor of the clubhouse. Restaurant hours are daily from 10:00am - 9:00pm. Over on the greens, regular course maintenance and improvements are continuing.
Racquet Center Update:
The old tennis courts have been demolished to make room for a new racquet center that will include tennis courts and pickleball courts. Timing and specific plans for the new racquet have yet to be determined and will be dependent on potential renovations of the golf course and driving range. Original conceptual designs show a combination of tennis and pickleball, (original designs here) and the City’s architectural and design consultant will be refining those concepts as they move through the various stages of renovations throughout the complex, including the golf course and club building.
April 2023 Update
The City continues its multi-million dollar investment in the Boca Raton Golf & Racquet Club with additional upgrades to the property. Recent improvements include the painting of the exterior of the club house building, installation of new air conditioning systems, paving of the facilities maintenance area, and demolition of the old tennis courts and practice facility. Stay tuned for more on future improvements to the golf and racquet facilities in the coming months.
April 2022 Update
Since the opening of the Boca Raton Golf & Racquet Club last November, staff has been hard at work operating the golf course and completing renovation projects throughout the facility. Ongoing projects include the replacement of the clubhouse and cart barn roofs and the filling in of the swimming pool. Additionally, conceptual designs for the exterior of the clubhouse and racquet center have been completed.
Over the summer, staff will be performing extensive golf course maintenance and will be working on designs of some potential changes to the course and the interior of the clubhouse. With a successful opening, staff is excited to continue to provide world-class recreation facilities for the community.

October 6, 2020 Update
MSD Partners and Northview Hotel Group, owners of the Boca Raton Resort & Club, have announced plans to donate the 167-acre Boca Country Club, located on Congress Avenue north of Clint Moore Road in the northwestern part of Boca Raton, to the City of Boca Raton. As a result of this donation, the Boca Country Club, which includes an 18-hole championship golf course, tennis courts, a clubhouse and pool, is proposed to become a publicly owned and operated facility in October 2021.
As part of their purchase of Boca Raton Resort & Club in June 2019, MSD Partners and Northview Hotel Group acquired Boca Country Club, located on Congress Avenue north of Clint Moore Road in the northwestern part of Boca Raton, seven miles from the Resort and Club property. MSD Partners and Northview Hotel Group recently announced plans to invest $150 million to transform and update the core property. The idea to donate Boca Country Club developed when the Resort and Club’s ownership group learned of the City’s interest in providing world-class golf to its residents.
As envisioned, the facility will be conveyed to the City in October 2020, although Boca Raton Resort & Club will continue its operation as a private club through September 30, 2021. During this time, the City will refine its management and operating plans.
Beginning on October 1, 2021, Boca Country Club will be available to all Boca Raton city residents and visitors, as well as Boca Golf and Tennis residents and Boca Raton Resort & Club’s members.
