The City of Boca Raton (The City) offers a comprehensive benefit package for all eligible employees, retirees and COBRA participants. Benefits are subject to change contingent upon availability of funds and collective bargaining agreements. 

The City’s Annual Open Enrollment Period is the only time during the year when you can make changes to your benefit elections unless you experience a Change in Status or Qualifying Event. Please refer to IRS Code Section 125 for additional information.

The City’s group insurance plan year is based on a calendar year beginning each January 1st. The employee benefits described in this summary are a very important part of your total compensation package from the City.
