Roadways
Within Boca Raton’s municipal boundaries, there are:
- 219 miles of city-maintained roadways
- 44 miles of bicycle lanes and paved shoulders
- 30 miles of shared-use trails
Three major north-south highways serve Boca Raton:
- Interstate 95 (I-95)
- Florida Turnpike
- US Highway 1 (Federal Highway)

Commercial Airports:
- Palm Beach Intl. Airport (PBI) - 21 miles to the north
- Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood Intl. Airport (FLL) - 22 miles to the south
- Miami Intl. Airport (MIA) - 43 miles to the south
Public Use Airports:
- Boca Raton Airport (BCT) - general aviation airport with manned control tower.

Buses and Shuttles
The City of Boca Raton operates shuttle busses in the Arvida Park of Commerce, connecting the commuter train station with numerous businesses. Palm Beach County operates the Palm Tran bus system, which includes several routes in the Boca Raton area.

Ports
- Port Everglades - 22 miles to the south. Annual operating revenues of more than $66 million and total waterborne commerce exceeding 23 million tons in liquid, bulk and containerized cargoes.
- Port of Palm Beach—23 miles to the north. Fourth busiest container port in Florida and the 18th busiest in the continental U.S.

There are a number of fiber optic service providers, and broadband and fast access internet network systems available throughout the City. Boca Raton also continues to develop as an international gateway for telecommunications access between the United States and the Caribbean and Latin America. The City has a number of undersea cable landing stations, including a recent $80 million express undersea fiber optic route that connects South America with the United States via Colombia and Florida.
The City is also covered by the major cellular telephone providers with a network of cell towers throughout the City.
