Job Application Process
The City of Boca Raton now accepts applications online.
FIREFIGHTER AND/OR POLICE OFFICER APPLICANTS:
If you are interested in an application for the positions
of Firefighter OR Police Officer,
please go to the appropriate site below for more up-to-date information:
NO SMOKING AFFIDAVIT:
All bargaining unit positions require that the applicant
be a non-smoker for at least one year prior to completion
of application. An Oath of Affirmation attesting to this
fact must be completed and submitted with all applications
for Union positions. The City of Boca Raton has three (3)
unions: F.O.P., I.A.F.F., and SEIU.
A TYPING TEST MAY BE REQUIRED:
If the job you are applying for requires a Typing, Clerical,
and/or Computer test, you will be notified when the screen
appears asking for the date you took this test. To take
one of these tests, you must apply IN PERSON at
City Hall in the Human Resources office.
